Position Summary

The Marketing and Social Media Intern supports the organization’s marketing efforts and day-to-day digital communications. The position creates and updates marketing materials, manages social media activity, maintains website content, and follows up with prospective leads under the direction of the CEO.

Essential Functions


1. Marketing Materials & Campaign Support

Develop and update flyers, digital graphics, presentations, and email content; support outreach activities and brand consistency.

2. Social Media Management & Engagement

Create, schedule, and maintain content across platforms; monitor comments and respond professionally to inquiries.

3. Website & Online Chat Support

Update website content; check links and forms for functionality; respond to chat inquiries using approved guidance.

4. Lead Follow-Up & Marketing Needs

Follow up with prospective members; record status in systems; provide monthly analytics reports on performance.

Required Qualifications


  • Writing: Clear writing and strong attention to detail.
  • Social Media: Familiarity with major platforms and engagement tools.
  • Tools: Proficiency in common design, website, and office tools.
  • Organization: Ability to manage deadlines and accept feedback on drafts.

Physical Demands


  • Computer Work: Frequently sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Mobility: Occasionally stand, walk, and reach to access supplies.
  • Lifting: Lift or carry routine office materials (up to 20 lbs occasionally).
